Prince of Wales Sunset

Prince of Wales Sunset

Prince of Wales Sunset was photographed in Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada in late September 2016. This was taken from up on the hillside overlooking Waterton Lake and the Prince of Wales hotel. Waterton is considered a sister park to Glacier National Park, MT as they share the US-Canadian border. The mountains in the background of this photo are actually located in Glacier National Park in the US. The Prince of Wales Hotel was built by the Great Norther Railway and opened in July 1927.

  • Paper and finish of framed artwork

All framed images are printed on a pearl metallic paper. This paper gives the images a beautiful iridescent quality and added warmth to the colors. They are then finished with a heat pressed laminate to protect the image. This product provides a water resistant surface that is UV protected without the glare or reflection that glass can cause. The frames are a black brushed satin finish metal frame (see photo for sample).  Each finished piece is a limited edition collector print that arrives ready to hang on your wall bringing enjoyment for years to come.
